Supervision Skills Course (10 videos)

These videos are suitable for any senior clinician who is involved in the teaching and/or supervision of junior colleagues. There are three videos that summarise the principles and practice of supervision as it applies to the healthcare environment, and two practical role-play demonstrations of how to give feedback that is adjusted for the level of insight and the anxiety levels of the trainee. The final role play demonstrates how to debrief a critical incident using the 7-eyed model. Each role play also has a short, informal reflective discussion going over the relevant teaching points. You will also have access to our 4 Wellbeing videos, which include practical ways to address worried thinking and learn mindfulness and self compassion. These are very useful skills to refer to when the trainee is struggling with anxiety or overload.
